After 2 highly successful seasons in the MCFL the West Michigan Force made the move to the USFA. The USFA is currently home to 32 football teams. The USFA was established in 2005 by Randy Goodnight of Sharon,Pennsylvania after he was unsatisfied with the direction of the league his team was playing in. He wanted to form a league that players as well as coaches and owners were proud to play in and he wanted the league to be fair for everyone that was involved. With this vision, the United States Football Alliance was founded. After the completion of the USFA's inaugural season, the league was awarded by Minor League Football News.
