To our Fans
We are family friendly organization with the goal of giving athletes the chance to showcase their talents and earn an opportunity to play college or professional football. Our players are not compensated and therefore retain their college eligibility. Not only is our team a great place for players to refine their skills for the next level, but also provides football enthusiasts an affordable option to continue to participate in competitive football after their high school, college or pro career has come to a close.
To our Players
Our commitment to you will be demonstrated by our actions. To get a better understanding of the Force Philosophy, we give you 6 pledges that we will honor:
1. Family comes first. No matter what the situation, the problems, the responsibility; you need to take care of the people that matter most to you. These are the people that count on you to be the best you can be. It is our pledge that they come first, regardless of the football situation.
2. Work comes second. If you do not realize this yet, there is no paycheck to play semi-pro football. So, therefore, you need to work in order to take care of the first point above. Your professional career takes precedence over your recreational football league. Until the day comes that you earn a paycheck playing football, your allegiance is to your career.
3. You will have excused absences from practices and games. These include and are limited too: family situations, work situations, health situations, personal situations, and life situations. As you can see, these are very vague excuses. Note: if we find that on a weekly basis you are constantly using excuses to miss practices or games, the coaching staff and management will review your commitment and dedication to the team. Remember, these are not get out of jail free cards..these are to assist you in fulfilling your family, work, and social commitments so that you can compete on the football field. Abusing these privileges may result in the loss of depth chart position, playing time, or membership on the team.
4. We believe in a team formed by the players for the players. We are here to build a class organization that West Michigan can be proud of. You all have a stake in this team. Therefore, you must treat it as an investment rather than a liability.
5. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO FAVORITISM FOR ANY PLAYER!!!! Every position is open for competition. The best players will earn the right to start.
6. Weekly practices will be voted on by the team as to the time and day. The majority wins. Remember.we have a lined and lighted field. Practice can be anytime of the evening. We will try our best to accommodate the needs of those with life-issue commitments (numbers 1 and 2 above).
